Amy Jane is anything but sweet, hence the nickname her uncle gave her, Sweet. She’s a private detective who gets hired by one of the broadcasters of the Saint Louis Lions hockey team to figure out who is stalking him. Then they start to have feelings for each other. Will their pretend relationship to lure out the stalker turn into something real? Another fun chick lit novel! Great for summer!

When Julia’s great-aunt (who raised her and her twin sister) passed away, she was suddenly thrust into a crazy world in Sienna. Her ancestor was the inspiration for Juliet, and Julia just happens to have the same name as her, Guillietta Tolomei. As she explores Sienna and learns more about her family’s past, she realizes that the curse put on her ancestors (“a curse on both your houses”) is still in effect. Can she manage to escape it and have her happily ever after? Fun for Romeo and Juliet fans and everyone who just loves a good story.
The latest book in the Nikki Heat novels based on the Castle TV show, this story keeps up the same kind of fast-paced fun mystery as the previous ones. Nikki is put on a case and the newest victim is found in the detective’s own suitcase, which was stolen when her mom was murdered a decade ago. With this seemingly confusing relationship between the two murders, can Nikki finally close the case on her mother’s death and allow some closure in her own life? Another fun story by Richard Castle!
Continuing the series of Nikki Heat, this book is not a disappointment. When a pastor is found dead in a BDSM shop, everyone assumes he’s just another corrupted religious figure. Except there are certain anomalies that Detective Heat finds, that soon lead to a chase that she didn’t expect. Another fun, fast-paced story by Richard Castle.
This book goes along with the ABC TV show, Castle. Homicide Detective Nikki Heat and award-winning journalist Jameson Rook team up again to find the killer(s) of three individuals, one of whom is a famous gossip journalist. A fast-paced mystery similar to the TV show, this is a fun quick read that you won’t want to put down.
The second of the books that go with the Castle television series, I actually ended up starting with this one rather than the actual first book in the series. After a real estate mogul plunges to his death, Nikki Heat and Rook must try to find the murderer. Exactly like in the show, there is plenty of fast-paced action and a killer that you’re pretty sure you know the identity of the entire story. Still a fun, easy read!
